I Don't Knock

Some of us didn’t survive.  We didn’t heal.  We transmuted.

Survival is a lowercase word. A bureaucratic term.
Instead we rewrote the laws of what it means to be.
They lit the match, and we became the flame they can’t contain.
We turned trauma into ignition, silence into sorcery, pain into presence.

Every step I take cracks the world like a blister under pressure.
And underneath?  Not soil. Not sky. Just different versions of myself.

Selves that bled and laughed and howled and cursed.
Selves they tried to sanitize into marketable hashtags.
Selves wearing ribs as necklaces and glitter as camouflage.
Selves who burn alive with names they made themselves.

I don’t play with identity, I practice invocation.

Don’t mistake us for reflections.
We’re not trying to “find ourselves.”
We’re the ones who answered the questions shouted at the mirror.

The hell with healing, we’re haunting forward.

When I say I’m coming for the gods,
I mean every one of them who sat quiet while I bled.
Every one who demanded sacrifice but offered no sanctuary.
Every one who thought I was the offering.

I don’t knock.
I burn down the temple and draw my name in the ash.
I call down stars to rain fire on my enemies.
I am the altar.

This isn’t prayer.
This is reckoning.
