You want to hex me?
Cute.
Better witches than you have tried.
Girls with gilded wands and store-bought sigils.
Boys who thought their curses were clever because they whispered them behind locked doors.
All of them forgot,
I was born wrong on purpose.

With Banewort in my bloodstream,
wolfsbane in my spit,
and hair braided with bad luck and broken promises,
I didn’t stumble into this;
I was summoned.

You think a curse will scare me?
I built a house out of hexes.
I sleep under a roof of bad luck.
I sing words from the Scottish play while in the shower
and brush my teeth with ashes of ill intent.

You can’t jinx what was forged in the fire.
You can’t bind that which unchained itself.
You think you’re the first to send a little chaos my way?

Babe, I spike my tea with it.

So yea, hex me.
Send your paper-thin malice.
Send your shadows, your sigils, your slander.
Watch how I turn your spells into fuel,
your envy into eyeliner,
your pettiness into performance art.

You don’t know who you’re playing with.

I’ve got mirrors that bite harder than you.
I’ve got salt circles lined in broken glass.
I’ve got the names of every backstabber etched into the soles of my boots so I can crush them daily.

Go ahead and throw your shade.
Just remember,
I am the eclipse.
I black out the sun with a glance.

So go ahead. Try.
But know this:

You don’t hex the storm.
The storm hexes you.
